About 10 Years ago I bought my home in Deep Creek the house was very outdated, so I replaced all of my window shades. I have 14 windows and 10 sliders. The owner Bob installed all of the Horizontal Blinds throughout the house as well as all the vertical blinds for all my sliding doors. They did an amazing job at a very fair price! I had received many other estimates. flash forward to hurricane Ian I lost my roof and 80% of my walls had to be replaced down to the studs. After almost 2 years since the hurricane. I needed to put all my Blinds backup throughout the house. during all the construction I was missing numerous parts and Vertical blind clips. I searched for months with no luck. I finally found a small sticker with Charlotte Home Decor on it. I went to the location 2733 S. Tamiami trail in Port Charlotte. Bob was just leaving to meet someone. when I showed him the parts I was looking for, he explained that didn't make those parts any longer. Then he said let me look. He spent the next 30 minuets looking around the shop and even in his Van. He found everything I needed!! I was and still am truly amazed. The staff and Bob were over the top friendly and caring. I would HIGHLY Recommend their warm and friendly service, quality products (still work great after 10+ years) If I ever need any new Blinds, Shades, Shutters and Motorization Products, or if any one I know needs these items I will send them there. I was delighted to find out Charlotte Home Decor installs both horizontal and vertical blinds. I called to check on my custom-made order today I placed in late May, with a 50% deposit. Nancy was very pleasant and let me know my custom-made order was not only in, but she woold be in sending a 2-man crew to install it. How amazing is that? I ordered 2 types of blinds, one horizontal for the office, and the second, a beautiful, soothing blue shade for my lanai. Cole and Freddie took the extra time to show me how to use both blinds, trimmed the blinds ever-so-slightly so they would lay and stack evenly, and made sure wires from my TV/modem weren't getting caught in the sliding lanai door. Even more impressive, Cole and Freddie noticed, and brought to my attention, a very minor discoloration in 2 of the blue custom-made slats. They sincerely apologized, offering to make it right and replace those 2 slats. Yay! I am beyond-impressed with the high level customer service and genuine care I received from everyone at Charlotte Home Decor. Without a doubt, definitely would use them again and would unreservedly them to others. It is a breath of fresh air to have a small company that stands behind their work.
